About Judy

Judy Lynn Plaumann showed us the power of unconditional love and support. Judy was caring, nurturing, and always watched out for the ones she loved. Our mother, Judy, was the best of humanity, providing a great example of humility and helpfulness.

Judy was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer as a non-smoker and lost her life tragically in a car accident--she was on her way home from a chemotherapy treatment session. Shock, sadness, and anger barely scratch the surface of the feelings that arise when thinking about this tragedy. These feelings never go away, that is grief; the endless and empty reminder of loss. Judy Plaumann was our mother, and we were beyond lucky to have her be our guide through the early stages of our life.

Judy's Way is the embodiment of all her life lessons. We at Judy's Way are here to help in the most difficult of times. Judy's Way is a nonprofit that provides support for those in need. That is who Judy was and that is what Judy's Way will do.

Our Vision

Is to take the financial burden off of families struggling during their time of grief. We also aim to create a positive online space to grieve and connect with others going through the same difficult process. Grief should be talked about, and we want to provide opportunities for people to openly share their pain with people who can understand.
